Seasonal Shanty allows players to acquire rare creatures like Carillong, a Seasonal Monster, even when it’s not the proper season. However, it will come with some special requirements. The only way to acquire Carillong out of season without resorting to Magical Sanctum is to breed it on Seasonal Shanty. You cannot use the same monsters as you would on Magical Sanctum. Instead, Seasonal Shanty requires the following monsters for breeding:

Yool
Schmoochle

Yool and Schmoochle are also Seasonal Monsters. Yool hails from the Festival of Yay, while Schmoochle comes from the Season of Love.
