As we said, Pikmin 4 has become much longer than previous games in the series. To progress in it, you need to unlock different areas one by one. You will only be able to go further if you search them well enough. Accordingly, it will take you approximately 13-15 hours to reach the credits.

However, the game does not end there, as, after the credits, you can continue the Pikmin 4 story and discover the real ending. Therefore, you will spend 15-17 hours beating the game, excluding side quests and all the treasures. But to achieve 100% completion in Pikmin 4, you must spend approximately 20-25 hours or more to beat the game.

What To Do in Pikmin 4 After the Main Story

Even though the story quests will take some time, you can play Pikmin 4 for more than 10 hours by completing the side quests. In addition to missions, you can look for various treasures and crafting resources. Crafting every possible item is quite a challenge, but if you want to fully beat Pikmin 4, you must do it. And remember to fill out Piklopedia; you’re a researcher, after all.

It is also worth noting that you can enjoy Pikmin 4 with your friends in Dandori Battle mode. It is a competitive mode in which you must collect as many items as possible before the time runs out. Even though it sounds very simple, this mode is enjoyable, and you will easily lose track of time.

That’s all you need to know about how long it takes to beat Pikmin 4. The game has a huge amount of different content. Therefore, you can enjoy the adventures of Pikmin for a long time. And while you are here, take a look at our guide on how to rewind time in Pikmin 4.
