Need an explanation for all Oatchi upgrades in Pikmin 4? Oatchi the space dog is found at the start of the game and quickly bonds with you. As your new best friend, the Rescue Pup can help you and your Pikmin out when exploring the world. Either by letting you hop on its back, attack enemies, or carry items. Just like gear, these skills can be upgraded, making Oatchi’s role in Pikmin 4 much more valuable.

All of the skills of Oatchi, the Pikmin 4 Rescue Pup, can be upgraded to increase their capabilities. At the start of the game, it already knows three basic skills: Buff, Chomp, and Rush. You will have to spend Pup Drive in order to be able to train Oatchi. For more details on how to upgrade them all, refer to our How to Upgrade Oatchi Skills Pikmin 4 guide.
