Want to know how to skip cutscenes and dialogue in Remnant 2? The long-awaited continuation of the Remnant series brought a lot of innovations to the gaming world. After all, in addition to rethinking the battle mechanics that the players loved, we also received a more colorful game world and an improved procedural generation system. However, an equally important component of this Soulslike game is a plot that takes place a few years after the first part. Of course, many cutscenes and dialogue tell about essential plot points of Remnant 2, but you can skip some of them, and we will tell you how to do it below.

No matter what platform you’re playing on, you can easily skip cutscenes and dialogue in Remnant 2 using the following keys:

  • PC – press or hold Space to skip dialogue or cutscenes.
  • PlayStation 5 – hold X on your controller.
  • Xbox – hold A on your controller.

However, it is worth noting that you cannot skip all the dialogues and cutscenes. Some story stages are mandatory for players, otherwise, they won’t understand what’s going on in the game world. For the rest, you can skip almost anything to return to the exciting gameplay quickly.

Should You Skip Cutscenes and Dialogue?

There is no single answer to this question, as it all depends on what you want to get from the gameplay. Feel free to skip all cutscenes and dialogue if you’re only interested in hot battles and upgrading your gear. You will learn all the game mechanics during the tutorial, and the plot will only distract you. The same goes for speedrunners, who are looking for all loopholes to speed up the gameplay.

But if you play for fun and want to enjoy the gameplay as much as possible, you must participate in all dialogues and watch all cutscenes. Remnant 2 offers players an exciting dark story and cinematic cutscenes, so you get aesthetic pleasure from pastime. It is especially true for those players who have not played Remnant: From the Ashes as you discover a whole new post-apocalyptic world.
