There are multiple Ruins in Fortnite, and they have their own puzzles. It is extremely difficult to understand how to unravel the mystery of these Ruins without the help of a guide. The “Solve a puzzle at a Ruin” Fortnite quest is a must-do mission, as it will directly level you up by 1 when you complete it. It may even be a good strategy to leave this quest for last because as you level up in Fortnite, gaining experience points and leveling up becomes harder. When the experience points required from you to level up reach a difficult level, you can complete this quest and get 1 level up directly.

In Fortnite, you need to complete some puzzles to unlock Ruins, and the way to do this is by offering items to the gates. The rarity of the items you give to these entrances depends on the color of the doors. If the gate is yellow, you should give an item of yellow rarity, and if it is purple, you should give an item of purple color or higher.

To complete this quest easily, follow these steps;

  1. To use this method, you must first have 250 Gold Bars. If you have enough Gold Bar, land to Southern Ruin, located between Mega City and Rumble Ruins.
  2. Here you will find the NPC named Slone next to the abandoned tank on the right side of the entrance to Temple Ruin.
  3. Remember that in order to open the gate to Temple Ruin, we need to offer an item to the gate. We need to give this Temple Ruin a purple or higher rarity item. You will get this purple item from the NPC Slone for 250 Gold Bars.
  4. After buying your purple item, enter the Temple, turn left, and you will see stairs leading down. Offer the purple item you bought to the purple gate at the end of these stairs. And your “Solve a Puzzle at a Ruin” Fortnite quest is easily completed.

How to Unlock the Temple Ruin Vault

After opening the door, you will see braziers in the room. These braziers should be the same as above.

  1. Go upstairs, examine the other braziers, and extinguish those that are not lit above.
  2. Then the next door will open, and there will be two statues on your left and one on your right.
  3. Choose one, if you choose the wrong one it will throw you in a Rift. If you choose the wrong one, come back and choose the other one.
  4. After you choose the right one, the last door will open, and you will be rewarded with the treasure of Temple Ruin.
