Billie Eilish is breaking hearts on Instagram as she announces the loss of her dog Pepper. The Grammy-winning singer posted to her social media over the weekend with tearful snaps. Posting for her 109 million Instagram followers, Billie Eilish admitted that it had been a “really hard day.” Saying goodbye to her precious pooch Pepper, the singing sensation shared snaps of her now-deceased dog, also showing her emotions via her tearful face.

Billie, 21, was clearly devastated as she broke the sad news. The “lovely” singer opened her gallery with a shot of herself cozying up to Pepper and shot close up.
The former teen icon then shared various snaps of Pepper, some with Billie herself, over the years. Also included was a snap of Billie Eilish crying into the Instagram lens as she said goodbye to her dog.

In a caption, Billie Eilish told her Instagram fans: “Pepper. my life long best friend. i will see you again someday sweet girl. you made it 15 years you f****ing beast. :’) i love you. rest easy mama, i’ll miss you forever.🫀this is a really hard day.”
Over 3.6 million fans have left a like. Also sending love were celebrities, including actress Nina Agdal and singer Demi Lovato. Rapper Cardi B, model Emily Ratajkowski, and actress Reese Witherspoon also showed support for Billie.
Billie’s brother and singing sidekick Finneas also posted to social media to mark the loss. “Sweet Pepper our dog has, at the ripe old age of 15, transcended her mortal form. A good, good dog who gave our family so much love and was loved by us all in equal measure,” he wrote.
Also known for being massive dog lovers in Hollywood are celebrities, including actress Kaley Cuoco, talk show host Kelly Ripa, plus reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
