Roblox Ability Wars: How to Unlock Portal Mastery

In Roblox Ability Wars, you can unlock the Portal Mastery by getting the Astrum Deus Badge. With this Ability, your avatar can shoot Portals just like in Valve’s first-person puzzle game, Portal, by pressing the Q and E keys. Pressing R can also suck the nearest players to your Portal for some fun shenanigans. To get it, you have to find a hidden Wooden Key and entry to the secret Astrum Deus Portal. Here’s how you can do it.

To unlock Portal Mastery via the Astrum Deus Badge in Roblox Ability Wars, you have to get a Wooden Key. With the Key, you can access a new area. There, you have to complete a puzzle challenge based on the popular Portal game. Here is the step-by-step guide to clearing it. Do keep in mind that unlocking Portal Mastery in Ability Wars only works if you’re on a Public Server.

1. Enter the Arena and look for the Wooden Key. The location of the item is randomized, but here are the spawn locations:
   1. Spawn location #1: Behind the counter inside the Cabin, between the two Cat and Dog Arena NPCs.
   2. Spawn location #2: Use Teleportation Ability to enter the hidden Potato Room behind the Cabin NPCs. The Wooden Key can spawn behind the Potato.
   3. Spawn location #3: Behind the Inventor NPC inside the Big Tree room, to the right of the Cabin. Climb the stairs to find it.
   4. Spawn location #4: Behind the Big Tree, in the shadows near the roots.
   5. Spawn location #5: Go to the Cabin’s Attic, the Wooden Key can spawn behind the potion cupboard.
   6. Spawn location #6: Head to the hill on top of the Mystic Cave Room, northeast of the Cabin. The Wooden Key might spawn near one of the trees on top of the hill.
2. Head to the hill with the small pond to the left of the Cabin.
3. Walk to the small wall beside the pond while holding The Wooden Key.
4. A hidden door will open, unveiling a room that holds the Astrum Deus Portal. Head inside for the second step of unlocking Portal Mastery in Ability Wars.
5. In the new area, look for another portal. Walk through it.
6. Complete the Portal-based puzzle in under 45 seconds to unlock Portal Mastery in Roblox Ability Wars. Remember, you can only make Portals on white surfaces. Although you can solve it together with friends to make things easier.

How to Solve the Portal Mastery Puzzle in Ability Wars

1. Start by creating a Q Portal near you, either on the floor or a wall.
2. Now, throw an E Portal beside the black wall across from your current location.
3. Quickly pass through the previous Portal and swiftly jump over to the black floor.
4. Proceed through the small gap.
5. Throw an E Portal on the wall right in front of the small gap.
6. Create a Q Portal on the top left part of the white wall above the black wall.
7. Step through the E Portal and quickly throw another E Portal to the far side of the area.
8. Land safely and drop down to the pit ahead of you. Now, create a new E Portal on the floor.
9. Throw a new Q Portal onto the white wall on top of the cliff in front of you.
10. Step into the E Portal you just made.
11. You’ll now find yourself on another black floor platform. Create an E Portal on the white wall beneath the black wall ahead of you.
12. Leap into the E Portal you just created.
13. You should now arrive on the platform with the Portal Mastery Portal.
14. To save time, create a Portal near you and one near the Mastery Portal. Then, jump through the big Portal and claim your well-deserved Badge and Ability!

And if you’re playing on an older server with a friend, you can try speedrunning the puzzle. Go through the puzzle casually without minding the timer. Have your partner place a Q Portal near the end and then go back to the starting place. Head back outside to reset the puzzle. Get a new Wooden Key and go back inside the Portal puzzle room. Once you restart the Portal Mastery puzzle, have your friend place an E Portal in the starting area. That’s how you unlock Portal Mastery and Astrum Deus Badge in less than 30 seconds in Ability Wars.
