Of her brand, Kristin has told Forbes:
“Right before I launched Uncommon James, I saw an interview with Jennifer Fischer, who is another jewelry designer. And she said, ‘If you can fund it yourself, and not take on any outside funding, do it.’ And that just stuck with me. And here I am, five and a half years later, and I have never taken a dollar. And I’m really, really happy about that. Because being 100% owner and having no one to answer to is a dream come true.”
