Want to know how to unlock the Glider in Palia? Even though Palia is still in open beta, there is something to see and where to have fun in the game. Indeed, besides story quests, collecting materials, and crafting, you will get a colorful world, the beauty of which is best delighted from a bird’s eye view. Luckily, the game invites you to use Glider during your travels, but you won’t be able to get it from the start. Najuma NPC will ask you to find some materials before you can unlock the Glider in Palia, and we will help you with that.
How To Get the Glider in Palia
As we said, to get the Glider in Palia, you must visit the Najuma NPC in Bahari Bay and complete the Like a Bird quest. This quest is available fairly early in the game’s story and requires you to collect the following materials:
- Sapwood Planks x3
- Fabric x2
- Leather x5
Once you have collected all the materials, return to the NPC and complete the quest. Najuma will tell you how to make the Glider, after which you will have a new air vehicle. But if you’re new to the game and don’t know how to get all these materials, we’ll tell you how to find them below.
Palia: Like a Bird Quest Materials
It is worth noting that if you have not yet figured out how to create some of these materials, then you are not alone. Crafting in Palia can confuse beginners, so this is a common problem. But here’s how to get each material.
Sapwood Planks
To get Sapwood Planks, you must craft a Basic Sawmill and use it to refine the logs. Additionally, you must upgrade your Foraging Skill to Level 2, after which you can buy a Basic Sawmill Blueprint from Ashura’s Store. As for logs of wood, you can get them by cutting down any tree. To create one Sapwood Planks, you only need one log of wood. This process will take exactly one minute.
Fabric
To create Fabric, you will need Loom and Cotton. As with the Sawmill, you must upgrade Furniture Making to Level 2. After that, you can buy the Loom Blueprint from Tish’s Store and craft the Loom. As for Cotton, you can buy Cotton Seeds from Zeki at the General Store in Kilima Village and then plant them. After five in-game days, this material will mature, and you can refine it in Fabric, which takes eight minutes.
Leather
Luckily, you will also need Loom to craft Leather. Find some Sernuk Hide and refine it to Leather. To create one Leather, you will need to wait five minutes.
