Therefore, you won’t need to pay for the game or buy any subscriptions to enjoy the base game. Starting on August 10, you can play the game completely free on PC until the open beta ends.

Nothing that affects the core gameplay, quests, story, or progress will be monetized in Palia. You can play the game completely without paying any money. You can earn Achievements, buy your own house, and interact with NPCs. In-game cosmetics are the only thing monetized in Palia.

These include costumes, jewelry, and anything related to looks. That means those who want to change their appearance can buy various clothing pieces in the game for real money.
