Pokemon Go makes going outside cool again.

In case you’ve just woken up from a coma, Pokemon Go is conquering the world with ease. The augmented reality game is defying gamer stereotypes by encouraging gamers to explore the outside world. While there are positives and negatives to this, there is no denying its popularity; Pokemon Go has become the biggest mobile game in US history.

The game is now the very best. Unlike this guy who has yet to win a non-filler competition.

Gamers searching the streets for virtual monsters have propelled Niantec’s AR game to the top spot in the states. The fact that the game only took a week to manage this makes it all the more impressive. Consequently, Candy Crush no longer finds itself in the top spot. It pulled in more users than Twitter in three days, according to comicbook.com.

The number of users has steadily increased since then; Go could be on course to overtake Snapchat if it keeps this up. Pokemon Go’s continued popularity depends on the developer’s ability to keep adding the content that the fans want. Fans giving feedback have noted that they would like to be able to trafe Pokemon between players, like in the core games.
