Citizen and Marvel are joining forces for a special watch release that celebrates the Avenger’s 60th anniversary this year. The watch company is bringing a limited-edition Marvel’s Avengers: Beyond Earth’s Mightiest 60th Anniversary watch box set to fans. The set includes exclusive enamel pins and a limited watch that features the original seven Avengers. However, if you want to get your hands on this limited item, you better act fast. Citizen and Marvel are making this item a limited run with only a set number to be offered.
Citizen And Marvel Exclusive
This Citizen and Marvel venture honors the release of Avengers #1 back in 1963. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby debuted what would become one of Marvel’s most popular franchises, launching comics, films, television shows, merch, and so much more. However, it all began with a group of seven heroes. They include Captain Marvel, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, and Black Widow. In honor of this team debuting in 1963, Citizen is only making 1,963 of these limited sets. So, if you want one for your collection, you better act fast.
The watch itself features the comic-accurate faces of those original seven Avengers. It also features a red “60” at the top, marking both 60 seconds and the 60th anniversary of this team. The Citizen and Marvel watch is available on Citizen’s website for $450. Along with the watch and pins, you will receive an exclusive Spider-Man/Black Panther comic book.
Celebrating Earth’s Mightiest
This Citizen and Marvel partnership is just one way the Avengers are celebrating their big birthday. In fact, Marvel has officially given the anniversary campaign a name: Avengers: Beyond Earth’s Mightiest. This campaign helps usher in new narratives in the Avenger’s comics, new toys/collectibles, new television shows, and much more. Currently, Jed MacKay and C.F. Villa are putting the Avengers through the ringer in their rebooted comic series.
