He-Man hasn’t had a new episode for the last 30 years, leaving fans of the cartoon bereft of new material to enjoy for decades. However, that is set to change, as a new report from Metro in the UK has revealed that Super7 are going to unleash a new chapter in the history of He-Man and his eternal nemesis Skeletor at the San Diego Comicon on 20 July.

He-Man Returns
The new episode, titled Curse of the Three Terrors, features the infamous Skeletor and his henchmen, while another teaser trailer has the skeletal antagonist insulting both the Comicon attendees and his henchmen. However, despite this unpleasantness, it looks like a large crowd is expected for the debut, which fans have been invited to view at the corner of 8th Avenue and G Street at 10pm: Locals familiar with the area will recognise this as a parking lot – perhaps they are hoping to force a standing ovation?
It is as yet unknown whether this could be just the first in a series of new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe for a new generation, though from the trailer it appears that the designers are attempting to at least somewhat capture the style of the original much-loved television show. Super7 may well be gunning to be the biggest upset of the con with this new announcement, and is sure to draw a fair few people as a result.
Regardless, fans young and old alike are likely to be rubbing their hands with glee at this new unexpected offering. Are you looking forward to seeing the new episode?
