You’ve improved your graveyard, cleaned up the surplus, scared the neighboring villagers and now you need to save all this? After unlocking new technologies and performing many activities in Graveyard Keeper, you need to save your progress, just like any other indie game. Otherwise, every new thing you do will not be saved and will be wasted in case of death or disconnection. To eliminate this risk, you must learn how to save your game in Graveyard Keeper. Let’s explain how to do it in the easiest way!

To save your progress in Graveyard Keeper, you just have to go to bed and get up again. This is the only way of saving the game and starting a new save file. Simply, just go to bed and get up immediately. You don’t need to get a full sleep to save the game. Just staying in bed for a few seconds will be enough to save your Graveyard Keeper progress. If you see “Saving progress…” at the bottom right of your screen, everything is fine.

Since the game won’t save your data automatically, you have to do it yourself. Getting in and out of bed once a day will be enough. Sleeping is mostly done to restore your energy in Graveyard Keeper. Therefore, when you’re low on energy at the end of the day, you can also save the game when you go to sleep and start the next day. Not sleeping at all is also an option, especially as meals and potions will restore most of your energy later in the game. Still, it doesn’t take much time to get in and out of bed for a few seconds to save after youโ€™ve done something important.
