Insiders told the outlet that Britney has been open about reconciling with her dad following her split from Asghari. The celebrated singer knows her dad has struggled with his health in recent times. Hence, she doesn’t want to wait too long to reconcile with him and regret it afterward.
Reports revealed that Jamie visited the hospital some months ago, with doctors believing he had kidney problems. However, Britney Spears’ dad’s issues were not with his kidneys but with his knees. Jamie underwent knee replacement surgery 16 years ago. Sadly, he developed a terrible infection in the procedure’s aftermath and will undergo surgery again on Friday, August 25. Jamie’s health struggles have caused him to lose much weight, causing him to look very thin.
Jamie Wants to Reconcile with Britney
While Britney Spears and her dad haven’t been on talking terms, she also didn’t speak with other members of her family. The only family member the singer remained in touch with was her brother Bryan. It was Bryan who informed Britney about her dad’s health condition. Such information may have filled Britney with much worry, so much so that she now wants to reconcile with Jamie.

Sources also revealed that the 71-year-old was delighted after hearing that his daughter was eager to reconcile with him.
