This Banner of War build is for the Berserker Strand Subclass on a Titan Guardian.

  • Melee: Frenzied Blade
    • Activate your charged melee ability to dash forward, slashing at targets in front of you and severing them.
  • Grenade: Grapple
    • Weave a grappling hook, and quickly pull yourself forward. Grappling to a Tangle immediately recharges your grenade energy.
    • During and shortly after grappling, your melee attack deals area damage and unravels targets.
  • Class Ability: Rally Barricade
    • Create a small barrier that you can peek over while aiming down sights and that increases weapon reload speed, stability, and range when you stand behind it.
  • Movement: Strafe Lift
    • Jump while airborne to activate Lift and launch into the air with a strong directional control.
  • Aspect 1: Banner of War
    • A tattered banner, every tear and faded stitch a lesson you will not forget. As long as it still waves, you rise to meet any challenge.
    • Defeat a target with a melee attack, finisher, or Sword to raise a Banner of War that pulses with energy, periodically healing nearby allies and increasing melee and Sword damage.
    • Target defeated by you and nearby allies charge the banner, increasing the speed of its pulses.
  • Aspect 2: Flechette Storm
    • Shards of broken blade, memento of a duel long won. Yours will not share its fate.
    • While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to leap into the air, knocking nearby targets away and dealing damage.
    • While airborne, activate your charged melee again to launch a cluster of damaging, Unraveling projectiles. Repeatedly activating melee will chain additional throws.
  • Fragment 1: Thread of Rebirth
    • Strand weapon final blows have a chance to create a Threadling.
  • Fragment 2: Thread of Propogation
    • Powered melee final blows grant your Strand weapons Unraveling Rounds
    • +10 Strength
  • Fragment 3: Thread of Transmutation
    • While you have Woven Mail, weapon final blows create a Tangle.
    • +10 Strength
  • Fragment 4: Thread of Warding
    • Picking up an Orb of Power grants Woven Mail.
    • -10 Resilience

This Banner of War build should be paired with this Exotic Armor:

  • Stronghold
    • Exotic Gauntlets
    • Maximizes guard stats on equipped Swords. You take reduced damage while blocking with a Sword. Rapidly damaging targets after blocking shots with a Sword grants restoration for a duration determined by the number of shots blocked.
    • Increased Resilience.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
