As you all know, new vaults have been added to the game in the new season of Fortnite. These vaults are protected by guards and lasers, and they’re a lot of fun to break into. Completing the Deploy a Scanner in the Vault Fortnite quest will give you 25K experience points, and this mission can be completed in the newly added vaults in Fortnite. If you are new to the season, you might not know what Scanner is and where to find it. So let’s move on to the guide without wasting time.

If you’re wondering what is a Scanner in Fortnite, this item is found in vaults and allows you to scan the vault room. It has no other function other than being a quest item. When you find this Scanner in the vault and interact with it, you will complete the Deploy a Scanner in the Vault Fortnite quest and be rewarded with 25K experience points. Completing quests like this also increases your Battle Pass level, and allows you to earn unique skins.

There are 3 vaults in Fortnite and you can complete this mission by going to any of them. These vaults are located in Relentless Retreat, Eclipsed Estate, and Sanguine Suites. Once inside these underground vaults, you can kill the guards or try to sneak past them unseen. However, you’ll need a Vault Keycard to open the door, so you’ll need to at least kill the Hearts Dealer boss.

It will also be very advantageous for you to have a Rocket Ram with you, so you can fly through the laser traps without getting trapped. After passing through the lasers, scan your Vault Keycard and open the vault. You will then see a small tripod glowing white in the center of the room. When you interact with this item, your Deploy a Scanner in the Vault mission in Fortnite will be completed.
