Sea Spider Boss Fight in Armored Core 6
One of the most important things any player inย Armored Core 6ย must learn is how to properly use different sets of weapons for a boss fight. Of course, you can use your default built to face the boss, but it will be at the cost of dying a couple more times and making the boss much more challenging for yourself. So before jumping into the mission, there are a few pieces that will make the boss fight easier.

The first thing you need is the spider legs for your mech. The best option is VP-424 Tetrapod Legs, which can help you hover around the arena more easily. It also is the ideal equipment for heavier weapon use, which we need in this boss fight. Secondly, you need some heavy and powerful weapons like Songbird Cannons or a 10-cell missile launcher. These weapons will stagger the boss quickly and deal a heavy amount of damage to the boss.
Sea Spider Boss Fight First Phase
Sea Spider has two phases. In the first phase, he attacks relentlessly and aggressively. If you have good reflexes that can dodge its laser and stomp attack, staying close to it will give you room to use your melee to throw some heavy punch. But if you struggle with it, try to stay far away and use your cannons to stagger it, and then get close for a few seconds to hit it with everything you have.
The tip you should remember is that Sea Spider has a big health bar and you have to fight it for a long time. Therefore make sure you are always cautious and not getting hit for rushing things and ending up using all your repair kits.
Sea Spider Boss Fight Second Phase
Once Sea Spider’s health reaches 40%, it will fly and stay above the ground for the rest of the fight. Its main attack is unleashing laser down on you, so in order to avoid it, you must hover above the ground as well. That’s where the spider legs you’ve obtained will help you.
The best solution here is to use your cannons to deal damage and eventually stagger it, then hover above the boss so you can use your weapons freely and not worry about dodging everything. As the health bar of Sea Spider gets to 15%, it will start its spinning laser attack.
Once you’ve seen that it’s preparing for this attack, use your launch boost (R3 on PS or Left Ctrl on PC) to get away from it as quickly as possible. Once its attack is finished, use the same strategy to hit and stagger to finish it off.
