The Radiation status effect in Starfield is an environmental status you can pick up from being in radiated zones. Often, you can pick up Radiation from being on planets with high radiation levels. One such planet is one we know well: Earth. There are loads of other planets that can be highly radiated as well, so beware of them. 

The Radiation status effect changes your ability to carry your maximum weight capacity. Due to swelling, every item you have equipped has increased carry weight. With an effect like that, Radiation isn’t something you want to keep for more time than you absolutely must. How To Eliminate Radiation in Starfield

Eliminating Radiation is as simple as using an Injector. Injectors administer medication that treats afflictions, including Brain Injury, Concussion, Heatstroke, Hernia, Hypothermia, Lung Damage, Poisoning, and Radiation. 

Each Injector has a Mass of 0.10 and a Value of 55. Injectors can be purchased from a Medical Bench, but it’s essential to know that if you’re low on currency, Injectors can also be crafted. Once you’ve crafted or purchased an Injector, you can head into your inventory and use the item to get rid of the Radiation status effect in Starfield. 

How To Craft Injectors in Starfield

To craft an Injector, head to a Pharmaceutical Lab. They will appear in the Directory under “Injector” and are listed as a Medical item. 

To craft an Injector in Starfield, you need two items: 

• 1x Membrane
• 1x Metabolic Agent
