There are many different status effects that you can come across in Starfield. There are each as follows:

  • Lacerations
  • Contusions
  • Puncture Wounds
  • Brain Injury
  • Heatstroke
  • Hernia
  • Hypothermia
  • Lung Damage

  • Infections
  • Dislocations

Just as there are different effects that you can contract in a variety of ways, you can also cure them! If you’re having trouble finding out how to cure your wounds or status effects, then keep reading. There’s a good chance that you already have a few of the things you need to cure yourself in your inventory right now.

How to Cure Every Status Effect in Starfield

There are five different resources that you will need if you want to cure your status effects. We listed them down below as well as what status effects they cure:

  • Bandages
    • Lacerations
    • Puncture Wounds
    • Contusions
  • Injectors
    • Brain Injury
    • Concussions
    • Heatstrokes
    • Hernias
    • Hypothermia
    • Lung Damage
    • Poisoning
    • Radiation Poisoning
  • Heal Gel
    • Burns
    • Frostbite
  • Antibiotics
    • Infections
  • Immobilizer
    • Dislocations
    • Fractures
    • Sprains
    • Torn Muscles

If your symptoms seem to be more than something that the above can handle, then it is best that you see a doctor. You can find doctors on the map as marked with green cross symbols, and when you speak to the doctor, you can pay a set amount Credits to heal yourself. You can pay 400 Credits to heal your wounds, 500 Credits to cure all of your afflictions, or 750 Credits to take care of everything. If you need to find a doctor in a pinch, one of the best places you can go to is The Well on Jemison as it will be the very first one you unlock. The doctor also has aid items to buy and sell, so coming here would probably be your best bet anyway.
