This week, Jared Fields was caught using a slur on the Big Brother 25 live feed. Obviously, fans are up in arms and calling for his immediate termination from the show. But some people seem to think that his mother (alumni Cirie Fields) will be the thing to keep him from getting the boot. It’s something fans are not too happy about at the moment. Please keep in mind he is the second season 25 contestant who has done this.
The irony is that the last person who did it was Luke Valentine, who was racist towards Jared. He was quickly booted from the show. So, the same thing is likely to happen to Jared. We really hope this doesn’t become a trend. Two different bouts of hate words in the same season is a very bad look for Big Brother. They may need to start picking better human beings as contestants.

The other problem is that he is HOH this week, which may help him further in the situation. He has gone on to say he doesn’t think America is (the r-word), but that felt like damage control. People want him held to the same standard as anyone else who uses such terms. But obviously, he is being treated differently due to the simple fact that he is still there after the fact. When Nick used a slur word, he was out almost immediately. It also marks a pretty crappy trend for Big Brother 25. This will definitely go down as the most hate-fueled season in quite some time.
Jared Fields was caught using a terrible slur on the Big Brother 25 live feed. But what will come of it? Only CBS knows. We just hope he is held accountable for his crappy attitude and crappy choice of words. That is just not okay in any way, shape, or form.
