Even though the development of Starfield took eight whole years and the final result was very decent, the game is not without bugs and errors. Of course, we’re all used to classic game-launching errors or audio problems. But when bugs arise during quests and interfere with the game’s progress, it is frustrating and ruins the overall experience of the story. So, progressing through the story of the Eye of the Storm quest and facing the endless loading of the energy transfer, you may find yourself in a dead end. Fortunately, there are several ways to fix the Eye of the Storm bug in Starfield, and we will tell you about them.

Starfield: Fixing Endless “Wait for the Transfer Process To Complete”

First, it is worth noting that the eternal loading bug at the end of the Eye of the Storm mission is a rare error. More precisely, it only occurs in rare cases, so you’re just out of luck. We also want to please players who are used to saving several times during one quest. You only need to return to the last save and progress through the story until the energy transfer stage. It is a great way to solve the problem.

However, if you are still waiting for the transfer process to complete, here are a few ways to help you fix the Eye of the Storm bug in Starfield:

  • First, try saving the game at the time of the error and restarting Starfield. Enter the game world again and wait a while for the energy transfer process to complete. Re-launching game files when restarting Starfield can move the quest from a dead point.
  • If this does not help, return to the previous save (perhaps before the start of the quest) and go through it again. But this time, save your game before you move the module and activate the switches. Start the energy transfer process, and if an error occurs, return to the save and try again. Of course, restarting and re-activating the same quest step can be frustrating, but it will help you get further.

For now, this is all the advice we can offer. Errors in Bethesda games are common, and the developers are good at admitting and correcting shortcomings. So, for now, use the solutions described above, and the developers will probably fix this bug in the near hot patches.
