Traveling through the vast expanses of Starfield, players must look for and farm many unique materials, from minerals to animal resources. And while ores are needed to build outposts and ships, the Membrane is the basis for your survival. Of course, good armor can protect you from most damage, but you cannot do without a Membrane if you want to restore your health after a battle. Thanks to this material, you can make Distilled Water, Antibiotics, Rid of Radiation, and many other medicines. So, we are here to help you and tell you how to find Membrane in Starfield.

Starfield: All Ways To Get Membrane

First of all, it is worth noting that you can get Membrane in Starfield in two ways:

  • Firstly, you can buy this material by visiting merchants at most trade outlets.
  • Secondly, you can get this material by killing some representatives of the alien fauna.

If you have been playing recently, buying a Membrane is a logical way to get this material, as your combat skills and equipment are at a low level. Luckily, you can find Membrane among most vendors in any city or space station for 9 Credits in the Resources tab. One of the first places you can visit to buy Membrane is the Amoli Bava NPC in the Jemison Mercantile building in New Atlantis. You can find this place on the Jemison planet in the Alpha Centauri System. By the way, you can also visit the Wen Tseng NPC at the UC Distribution Center in the same city.

You should know that Membrane stocks are limited to any vendor. So, if you need more, you can sit on the nearest chair and wait 24-48 hours. This time will be enough for the NPS to replenish its assortment, after which you can buy more of the desired material.

If you have more or less decent equipment, you can get Membrane for free by killing Pack Coralbugs. You can find these creatures on Jemison or other planets, so you won’t have to search too long. You only need to set a landing point away from cities and go hunting. Also, we advise you to scan these creatures to know their habitats and increase your income.

Please note that Coralbugs live not only on Jemison but also on other planets. Additionally, these are not the only creatures that drop Membrane. So traveling, exploring new locations, and scanning alien fauna is an excellent solution if you want to find the most profitable source of Membrane in Starfield.
