Do you want to know how to get and use Moonstones in Moonstone Island? The game offers you a variety of activities to involve yourself in, and one of them is the search for many materials that you can use to craft tools and new buildings. Also, Moonstones are rare materials that can be used for many purposes, including crafting moonstone ingots, which can be used to craft many magical items. Getting some Moonstones at the earlier stage of the game is daunting. But, if you know the correct locations to search and the proper techniques, you can easily acquire them without any difficulties.

Finding Moonstones in Moonstone Island

You can get Moonstones in Moonstone Island from chests and Island hopping. These are the most straightforward methods you can get Moonstones.

How To Get Moonstones From Chests

You can find one to two Moonstones from dungeon and treasure chests. Usually, blue chests that are typically hidden always give you one to two chests. And last, boss chests generally obtain one to two Moonstones. Also, treasure chests have a 100% drop rate of Moonstones, so you must keep a close eye on these chests when you come across them. However, they are difficult to find, and the number of Moonstones in each chest is limited.

However, ensure not to open normal chests until you unlock the Moonstones-minded and Moonstonemancer skills. These skills will increase 15% the chance of getting Moonstones from normal chests.

How To Get Moonstones By Island Hopping

Island hopping is another efficient way of getting Moonstones. Initially, traveling between islands might be difficult, but it will be much easier once you unlock the glider. Look for Moonstones on these islands in the evening; darker islands have a higher chance of spawning them at night. Also, look for the edges of the island since, most of the time, they will have higher spawn rates.

You can use Moonstones to craft tools such as brooms. However, using a furnace, you can use their full potential once you transfer them to Moonstone Ingots. Moonstone Ingots help craft magical items such as Spirit Barns, Gliders, and Alchemist Houses.

So, eventhough you may find getting Moonstones at the beginning of the game challenging, it is not very difficult when you progress. You can quickly get your hands on these precious materials using these strategies. Also, the video below from Josh’s Gaming Garden provides some beginner tips for the game.
