Update 1.20.31 patch notes have rolled out for Minecraft Bedrock, and this patch has notable changes. Instead of bringing significant changes and features, the latest release addresses some issues that appeared with the 1.20.30 update. These include fixing a crash that could occur when playing in split-screen multiplayer, and more. All folks are recommended to review the recent changes brought by the latest version before continuing their playthrough. Let’s examine the Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.31 update patch notes.

Here are the patch notes:

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when playing in split-screen multiplayer
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the Realms Plus page
  • Fixed a crash that could occur on PlayStation when opening the control center or a controller notification appeared on screen
  • Improved server performance when Villagers are grouped together
  • Fixed an issue that caused Marketplace to become inaccessible after leaving the game on for extended periods of time
  • Fixed issues with @minecraft/server-ui dependencies failing to load with newer versions of the @minecraft/server module

So that’s it. The changes that arrive with the latest Minecraft patch are listed above. Although this is not as comprehensive as the 1.20.11 update released a while ago, it aims to improve the gameplay experience by focusing on bothersome issues in the game. If folks receive the patch, they will receive bug fixes for many issues, including fixing a crash that could occur when opening the Realms Plus page. Moreover, there are also changes, such as improving server performance when Villagers are grouped together.

The Minecraft Bedrock update 1.20.31 is available on Windows 10 and 11, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Fire OS/TV, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, and Samsung Gear VR.
