This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

If there’s one thing that’s certain in Night City, it is that looks are everything. Wherever you go, you’ll see people wearing all kinds of flashy clothes, and you know how the saying goes: how they treat you is how they see you. While in previous iterations of the game, clothing was crucial for providing armor; CD Projekt Red made it, so clothes only worked as cosmetics, leaving armor for other items. This is fantastic as players can finally dress up as they want, but with such limited wardrobe options, many want to know how to get more outfits in Cyberpunk 2077 (2.0).

Sadly, you can’t get more outfits in Cyberpunk 2077 (2.0). You’re stuck with only six outfits in the game, and you can switch them whenever you want, provided you edit them first. This might be bad for those fashionistas, but thankfully, editing outfits isn’t hard. It’s uncertain if the developers will increase the number of active outfits, especially now that players can finally wear whatever they want without worrying about grabbing the optimal clothes and looking like a kaleidoscope.

How to Create Outfits

To create outfits in Cyberpunk 2077 (2.0), you must first loot or purchase the clothing you’d like. Afterward, these are the steps you must follow:

  1. Head to any of V’s apartments or a clothing store.
  2. For the former, head to your wardrobe and open it; for a store, select the “Change Outfit” option.
  3. Select the items for each slot and apply the changes.
  4. You can activate the outfit from that screen or change it later.
  5. To change it from your inventory, head to the Character menu and go to outfits under your clothing inventory. You can swap saved outfits on the fly.

Undoubtedly, the new outfits in Cyberpunk 2077 (2.0) are fantastic, even though we can’t get more. While we’d love to have a broader selection of active outfits, six are more than enough, and changing between them is easy. So, start looting those scavs and gather your favorite rags to dazzle everyone in Night City.
