Payday 3 hit the ground running when it launched a little over a week ago, and along with updating Payday 2, Starbreeze Studios has stayed on top of both heist shooters. Although, like any newly released game, Payday 3 encountered a few hiccups that players were quick to report. But the devs have confirmed that they’re working on everything the players have pointed out, and have already fixed the game’s matchmaking issues. But the biggest news must be Payday 3 crossing 3 million unique players on all platforms and the future roadmap.
To achieve this, Starbreeze Studios has updated the matchmaking software, as well as the actual infrastructure with additional regional nodes. This should help make the online experience a lot more consistent and make finding matches comparatively quicker. And that isn’t all that the devs have in store for fans, as they have also revealed the roadmap for Payday 3 for 2023. You can see the list of upcoming updates before the end of this year below.

These updates aren’t very detailed, and players should expect more platform-specific updates not mentioned here. The CEO of Starbreeze Studios, Tobias Sjögren, said:
