To become proficient with pistols and revolvers, you need to use the best Gunslinger build in Cyberpunk 2077. Our build will tell you about the best Skills, Attributes, and Cyberware to choose. Among other things, you’ll need to decide on the weapon that best suits your playstyle, and this is what we are going to start with.
Gunslinger Build: Best Weapon
Some pistols are better than the others, but still, everybody has their own preferences, so we have a few guns to offer:
- Overture: Probably the best option for the build we’re going to talk about now. Incredible power with a bunch of additional effects such as Bleeding Chance, Burn Chance, Shock Chance, Poison Chance make this revolver a killing machine. In addition, bullets ricochet off surfaces, giving you even more options for attack.
- RT-46 Burya: This variant is no worse than the previous one, and even better in terms of damage, but there is one warning. This revolver has a rather large recoil, which makes it unplayable for some players. If you are confident that you can cope with this problem, we recommend choosing this weapon.
- Archangel: An iconic Tier 5 weapon that is considered one of the best pistols in the game. This revolver has a +25% Shock Chance, which will allow you to disorient enemies and deal with them quickly. In addition, the Archangel has a fully automatic mode, which allows you to fire powerful volleys with incredible damage.
Once you’ve chosen your favorite, you can move on to the next step, which is attributes.
Gunslinger Build: Attributes and Skills
The second thing you need to focus on is attributes. Each of them is responsible for the advantages and skills you will gain in battle, so in our case, you need to upgrade Technical Ability, Cool, and Reflexes. Of course, you can improve other attributes, if necessary, but we recommend that you upgrade the following skills first:
Reflexes | Can’t Touch This |
Slippery | |
Steady Grip | |
Muscle Memory | |
Dash (2) | |
Multitasker | |
Cool | Focus |
Deadeye | |
Deep Breath | |
Head to Head | |
Quickdraw | |
Nerves of Tungsten Steel | |
Technical Ability | All Things Cyber |
Edgerunner | |
Renaissance Punk | |
Cyborg | |
Driver Update | |
Extended Warranty | |
Chrome Constitution | |
Ambidextrous | |
License to Chrome (3) |
Among all of them, the main focus should be on the Cool skill because it is with its help that you can be much more maneuverable and effective in combat. Almost all the Cool skills we mentioned above are focused on hitting the head to deal maximum damage and gain various benefits, including reduced stamina, time dilation, and no reloading. If you’ve followed these tips and have your stats right, the last thing to consider is Cyberware, which also plays an essential role.
Gunslinger Build: Cyberware
After the release of the DLC, implants have become much more powerful and effective than before. To make the build as effective as possible, you need to find and obtain all the following implants.
Body part | Implant | Effects and benefits |
Hands | Shock Absorber | Significantly reduces recoil during shooting. It will be a great solution if you decide to choose RT-46 Burya as a weapon for this build. |
OS | Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan | Slows down time and increases the chance of critical damage and hit. |
Eyes | Kiroshi “Clairvoyant” Optics | While scanning, you can highlight enemies to know where they are. |
Nervous System | Tyrosine Injector | After killing enemies, your movement speed and headshot damage increase. |
Circulatory | Clutch Padding | The stamina you lose for shots is reduced |
Frontal Cortex | Newton Module | After takedown, cyberware cooldowns reduce |
Despite the importance of Cyberware, this is the part of the build that you can customize as much as possible. For example, if you don’t like Tyrosine Injector, you can easily replace it with Kerenzikov, which is more suitable for stealth mode, providing almost the same benefits as the implant we mentioned. How to customize this build is up to you, so choose what you like and head out on a dangerous adventure in Night City.
That’s everything you should know about the best Gunslinger build in Cyberpunk 2077. Good luck!
