Of all the customization options available in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, one of the only ones that has an effect on gameplay is outfits. The game offers a collection of outfits for the player to dress Basim in, and each outfit comes with a unique perk that gets more and more useful as a tailor upgrades the outfit. One such outfit is the Abbasid Knight Outfit, an armored look that regenerates health and can be found at the Monastery of the Virgins in southern Baghdad.

The simplest way to find the Abbasid Knight Outfit in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is to do the following:

  • Find the Monastery of the Virgins in southern Baghdad
  • Get inside the monastery and past the guards
  • Find the secret room with the chest in it
  • Unlock the outfit

In order to find the outfit, the first thing you’ll need to do is find the Monastery of the Virgins. The monastery is located in southern Baghdad, not far from the Pomegranate Gate leading out of the city, and it has a viewpoint and a historical location attached to it. More importantly, for the purpose of this guide, it also has a chest.

Standing outside the monastery, use Enkidu to locate the monastery’s chest and put a marker on it as a reference. Then, circle around the monastery until you’re on its western side, looking at the entrance in the image below. There’s only one guard at this gate, and you can take him out by crouching in the grass directly behind him, whistling to pull him away from his post, and then assassinating him as soon as he’s close enough to do so.

Enter the Monastery of the Virgins on its western side.

With the door guard out of the way, slip inside the monastery, and you’ll find yourself in a courtyard-type area. Hide in one of the four patches of grass in the courtyard and use Eagle Vision to keep an eye on the armored guard moving across the courtyard. Wait for him to kneel down by the small pool of water, then either whistle to lure him into the grass or sneak up behind him. Either way, assassinate him and get back into cover.

Eliminate the monastery guard kneeling by the water.

From the center of the courtyard, look to the north, and you’ll see a guard standing in front of an open door. This is where the monastery chest is, so we need to get the guard out of the way. You can do this by either luring him over to you, hitting him with a ranged weapon, or waiting for him to leave the door and walk down the corridor, at which point you can follow and assassinate him. The last method will raise your notoriety, but it eliminates the risk of the guard coming back to see you snooping around.

Now that the guard’s taken care of, go through the door he had been guarding. You’ll find yourself in an office-like room with one guard who’s standing at the desk with his back to you. Eliminate him, and there’s a letter from the abbot on the desk you can read, though it’s not necessary.

Eliminate the single guard in the monastery's office room.

You’ll find a movable wooden bookshelf on the left side of the room. Grab it and move it out and to the left until it won’t move anymore, revealing a secret room behind it. The secret room is full of loot, mostly in the form of dirhams, but we’re focused on the golden chest in the corner.

Open the chest, and you’ll be rewarded with the Abbasid Knight outfit.

The Abbasid Knight outfit comes with the "Lick Your Wounds" perk.

This outfit, while stylish and having a really cool helmet, also comes with the “Lick Your Wounds” perk, allowing Basim to regain 1% of his health every 2 seconds while unseen for up to half his total health. At level 2, he regains 2% health every two seconds, and then again to 3% health at level 3.
