Ever since the end of Endwalker, Square Enix has been looking for a way to get more players to try the PvP aspects of its MMO. After many trials and errors, the developers have finally nailed the gameplay part and made PvP fun for everyone. With every major update bringing a new PvP season, players always look forward to its rewards. During FFXIV 6.5, the Fierce Tyrant Attire was added for those willing to put the hours and effort into fighting others. Here, we’ll tell you how to obtain this slick armor set.

To get the new item set, players must focus on the PvP Series pass. If you didn’t know, each season lets players level up their Series pass to obtain rewards. Here are some of the rewards you can expect each season:

  • New Portrait Frame Kits
  • Crystal Trophy Currency
  • Emotes
  • Minions
  • Armor Sets

Most of these reward changes with each major patch, and 6.5 wasn’t an exception. This time, to unlock the Series’ PvP set, you must reach rank 25 on the PvP series pass; this will unlock the Fierce Tyrant Attire. If you want to know what the outfit contains, here are the individual pieces:

  • Fierce Tyrant’s Helm
  • Fierce Tyrant’s Cuirass
  • Fierce Tyrant’s Gauntlets
  • Fierce Tyrant’s Hose
  • Fierce Tyrant’s Sollerets

This new set is strictly cosmetic and does not provide any stat increases, making it great for glamour sets. The other amazing thing about this is that any job can equip it regardless of the level. Say goodbye to the days of doing the game’s Main Scenario Quests while looking like a kaleidoscope.

Best Way to Get PvP Series Experience

If you want to get the Fierce Tyrant Attire set before the season ends in FFXIV, here are some of the activities you can participate in to increase your rank:

  1. Crystalline Conflict Casual Matches
  2. Crystalline Conflict Ranked Matches
  3. Frontline Roulette (Daily)

It is important to remember that winning any of the abovementioned activities rewards more PvP Series experience. So, if you’re queuing for any of them, aim to be the best during the match.

Also, if you want to see the attire in action, here’s a video by Desperius FFXIV, who showcases the set on different races and genders.
