Bandai Namco published a new trailer to reveal the release date for Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash. The trailer shows off new gameplay footage, featuring an action-back video game and stylish graphics. The title is an arena fighter game based on the incredibly popular Jujutsu Kaisen manga and anime. Cursed Clash focuses on 2-v-2 combat, where two fighters face off against two other characters in an open arena stage. Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash will launch in early 2024, becoming one of the earliest big titles of the year. The title will be available on most platforms, including consoles and Steam.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash will launch on February 2, 2024. The release date trailer showed off plenty of new battle scenes for the game, highlighting certain moves and attacks. The anime directly inspires the game’s combat. The trailer has several scenes that were lifted from the show itself.

The title’s graphics use a stylish 3D animation technique, using heavy shadows and specific coloration to make the game look just like the animated series. Bandai Namco uses similar graphics for its other anime-based games, including the company’s popular Dragon Ball Z franchise.

Cursed Clash is a fighting game that uses an open-arena mechanic. Open arenas are not the same as a traditional 2D fighting game. Instead of centering on two fighters on a single plane, open-arena allows you to move around in an enclosed open space. Whereas traditional fighting games only allow you to move forward and backward, the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen game gives you the option to move all corners of the stage.
