Britney Spears had a surprising cameo this week on TV. Namely, she showed up on The Voice. Sadly, she was not singing or performing herself. She was there (on video) to support a former backup dancer she worked with for years. This was mere weeks after her ‘dancing with knives’ video freaked out half the internet. This was also a mere week after her sister was booted from Dancing With the Stars.
It seems with her new book coming out named The Woman In Me that she is making the effort to be visible. She also just announced today that actress Michelle Williams will be doing the reading of the book for audible, which is cool to hear. This has been quite a year for Britney Spears with no signs on slowing down anytime soon.

Britney Spears was there supporting her friend and dancer, Willie Gomez. Brit spoke his praises before he came out and jawed everyone. You know someone has a great singing voice when all the chairs get turned around. It also must have been inspiring for him to work with Britney and maybe that gave him the confidence to try out for the show. He sang Manuel Turizoโs โLa Bachataโ and floored everyone who was there. We imagine Spears was looking on like a proud parent.
Britney Spears was on The Voice in a surprising cameo, and it got us thinking. Why not make the queen a judge on the show? People love her and she would inject some much-needed youth into the show, as Niall Horan is the only ‘young person’ on the panel. It would also get Britney out of the house, so she is less compelled to dance with sharp objects which is a win/win for all.
