The Exorcist’s second episode “Lupus in Fabula” premieres this Friday. After the twist at the end of the premiere (you can read my review here) that it is actually Casey, not Catherine, who is possessed, a lot of questions need answering. First off, what is Father Marcus’s role in all of what is to come? How soon will Angela find out about Casey? Will she find out for herself or will Father Tomas be the bearer of bad news? Are we also going to see some more dream sequences, whether they are flashbacks or premonitions? And does Henry, who either has Alzheimer’s or dementia, know more than he lets on? He seems to be able to see things others cannot.

The promo for “Lupus in Fabula” looks to show Father Marcus giving Casey an exorcism, just for things to get worse. Nine homicides and mention of more than one demon makes it sound like things are going to escalate quickly. Images for the next episode are vaguer. We see that Father Tomas is keeping a close eye on Casey. Most of the photos are in a church in what looks to be a charity event of some sorts. Is that where whatever is possessing Casey shows itself? And who wins the game of Jenga (my money is on Henry)? Well, we will just have to watch The Exorcist “Lupus in Fabula” this Friday to find out.
