Way back in December of last year, we caught our first glimpse of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Now, with the movie only a couple months away from hitting theaters, the latest Harry Potter movie has released its final trailer. And if it is possible, this video is full of even more political intrigue, magical creatures, and wizardry antics.

The trailer introduces a menagerie of magizoologist Newt Scamander’s monsters, albeit in quick flashes. Each one is more “fantastic” than the last, from the gorgeous bird-like snake (or snake-like bird perhaps?) captured in a teapot, to the kleptomaniac Niffler or tiny green Bowtruckles. Of course, there are sure to be countless more creatures not shown yet. Chiefly, the main unknown threats to New York, shown ripping up streets and subways while threatening the non-magical.

This latest movie on J.K. Rowling’s magical universe is entirely different from the previous eight. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them bases its story on an original screenplay by Rowling, rather than adapting itself from a novel. In addition, the film focuses on brand new characters in a brand new setting – 1920’s New York City. It will certainly be interesting to see how well the movie does. Especially as Hogwarts and the characters there have been a big part of many fans’ lives for a long time.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters on November 18.
