In-game rewards are great, but how often do you earn something in real life to boast about? Sea of Thieves aims to do that for you through their Pirate Perks reward program. As you build your reputation in the game, you will unlock various merchandise for purchase in real life. It’s a great way to highlight your in-game accomplishments on a world stage and let your fan flag fly high. Let’s break down how you can get into the Pirate Perks program and highlight some of the available merch.

Pirate Perks is a fun reward program that gives players exclusive access to certain Sea of Thieves merchandise. Before you can enjoy it, you must follow the steps below:

  • Have an active Sea of Thieves account
  • Open a Rare Games Store account
  • Link both your Sea of Thieves and Rare Games Store accounts

Be sure that you’re logged into both accounts before linking them. It’s a quick process, and once you complete the steps, you can jump back into the game and start working toward Pirate Perks. To earn for the reward program, simply play the game. Raise your Renown and rank up within the various Trading Companies.

Rare Games Store already offers plenty of fan gear you can purchase. However, the Pirate Perks program lets you buy merch that others cannot. Some Pirate Perks have strict requirements like reaching a certain level with a specific Sea of Thieves Trading Company.

When you do meet the various requirements, you can access some cool t-shirts. Many of these shirts feature a modern spin on some familiar in-game logos. Best of all, if you reach level 100 in the current Season, you can purchase the unique Seasonal Coin.

So, if you decide to partake in the Pirate Perks reward program, the only way you can earn any points toward the requirements is by doing the following:

  • Raising your Renown level
  • Raising your level within Trading Companies

From there, you can access exclusive merch and the coveted Seasonal Coins. Remember that the coin disappears once the Season is over. It’s best to act fast before a new Seasonal Coin replaces it.

Sea of Thieves is available for PC and Xbox.
