The popular feline-focused Marvel Meow series is jumping off the screen and into an all-new print release. Beginning January 2024, Nao Fuji’s Infinity Comic is hitting comic book shops in physical format. Previously, the series was only available through Marvel’s Unlimited app. Now, the original run is hitting print. Plus, the new release features an exclusive new story. You can also collect all-new covers for the comic from Fuji, Doaly, and Chrissie Zullo.
Marvel Meow
Nao Fuji’s Marvel Meow Infinity Comic debuted last March on the Marvel Unlimited app. The series follows the adventures of Marvel’s furry felines as they interact with heroes and villains. According to the print release’s official synopsis, fans can expect to see Marvel’s most fearsome and furriest to save the day. Marvel Meow follows Carol Danver’s pet cat, Chewie, and Natasha Romanoff’s pet Liho. They are joined by Bucky Barnes’ white cat Alpine and other feline friends.
While these furry heroes usually end up saving the day from villains like Doc Ock, they also cause a little havoc themselves. Anyone with a pet cat knows how destructive our furry friends can be. We see that in Marvel Meow as the cats go from saving the day to wrecking Carol Danver’s apartment. However, it is this mix of heroics and fun that makes the series so popular. It’s at least popular enough to earn a print release.
Year of the Pets
This Marvel Meow print release is not the only four-legged adventure Marvel has planned for 2024. The publisher recently announced a new series focusing on the animals of the Marvel Universe. Infinity Paws is a new Infinity comic set to release on the Unlimited app in the Spring of 2024. Nao Fuji is on art for the new series, which comes from writer Jason Loo. It features some fan-favorite critters, including Jeff the Land Shark, Chewie, Alligator Loki, and Lucky the Pizza Dog.
Marvel Meow #1 hits comic book shops in January.
