There are many unnecessary things in the default graphics settings in Ark Survival Ascended that put a lot of strain on your computer and cause your FPS to drop. These settings can also make your game look clunky.

For example, the Light Bloom setting adds an unnecessary fog in front of you in the game, which not only decreases the performance of the game but also makes you unable to see clearly ahead.

Console Commands To Boost Your Fps

There are some console commands that boost your FPS in Ark Survival Ascended. With these console commands, you can change graphics settings that you can’t access from the settings section of Ark Survival Ascended and thus increase your game performance.

  • r.VolumetricCloud 0
  • r.VolumetricFog 0

The command “r.VolumetricCloud 0” disables clouds that appear far away and take up too much space. The command “r.VolumetricFog 0” removes dust between trees. It also allows you to see further underwater.

To use console commands in Ark Survival Ascended, first log into the game, and press the (`) key under the “Esc” key. This will open the game’s console, and you can paste the above commands into the console.
