After getting married to whoever the love of your life is in My Time at Sandrock, chances are that you’re going to want to have children. Fortunately, you can either choose to have kids naturally, or you can adopt. There are different procedures for each one, so we outlined both ways of how to have children in My Time at Sandrock.

In My Time at Sandrock, you won’t naturally have children after you marry your spouse. There are a few things that you’re going to have to do first.

  1. Have a Level 5 Workshop.

This is so that you know that your home has enough space for another person.

  2. Build a Baby’s Crib.

You can get the Baby’s Crib recipe at the Commerce Guild Store. Build it in your home alongside a single bed.

  3. Discuss having a baby with your spouse.

The option will appear as a pacified icon when you talk with your spouse. Depending on the type of relationship that you have, you can either adopt a baby or have an in-game pregnancy. Both of these options take two weeks before you can welcome a baby.

  4. If adopting, go to Sandrock’s Temple.

You will need to complete the adoption papers at Sandrock’s Temple and wait one day to receive a letter talking about the adoption process. Your baby will arrive two weeks after the letter is received.

Once the two weeks have passed, you’ll be able to welcome a baby to the crib that you built especially for it. After a short while, they’ll become a toddler and will be crawling around the house.
