Duking it out as your favorite Nickelodeon character is an absolute dream for many of us who grew up on the cartoons on that channel. In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, this dream comes to life, allowing you to take on characters like SpongeBob, Garfield, and more! The best part is that you’re able to play with up to four friends, putting forth maximum cartoon carnage. The only thing better than being able to play locally with your friends is being able to play with them regardless of what platform they have via crossplay.

Is Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Cross Platform?

Fortunately, you and your three friends won’t need to all have the game on the same platform since Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is both cross-platform and has crossplay. This means that regardless of what platform you or your friends have the game for, you can start it up and play online together. If you have a Switch and your friend is playing on PC, then you won’t have to worry about what to do or having to buy another copy of the same game just to play with one person.

What we really aren’t sure of is whether or not there will be cross-progression on different platforms. The first game in the series didn’t have this feature, though it’s possible that this has changed with the new game as it is a highly regarded feature in online fighting games. The previous game also did not have crossplay and was not cross-platform either, though it was clearly wanted enough that it was added as a launch feature for its sequel.
