This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has brought back many of the MW 2009 Multiplayer maps and its main Villain, Makarov. Alongside the villain and the maps, however, we also have some of the fan-favorite weapons return to the MW3 as well. Striker, for example, is the UMP45 SMG that held the meta flag of MW2 2009 more than 10 years ago. But this time, we can tune this bad boy and create the best Striker Class and Loadout in MW3 – Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer.

  • Muzzle: FSS Covert IV
  • Laser: 1MW Quick Fire Laser
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Rear Grip: Tacgrip
  • Ammunition: .45 Auto Overpressured +P

The MW3 meta has not changed that much since the open beta period. And with that, we already know the Striker is an OP weapon in the SMG category. However, after the full release of Modern Warfare 3, we can use more attachments, even from the MW2 weapons on this SMG. The first of which is the FSS Covert IV muzzle.

The FSS silencer doesn’t give you that much of an advantage when it comes to hitting targets from range. It’s mostly effective for reducing your gun’s recoil and keeping the player undetected while shooting. Now it’s time for some mobility attachments to build the ultimate best Striker class/loadout in MW3 Multiplayer.

First, remove the stock from your weapon; with the high accuracy stats of the Striker in MW3, you won’t need that stock anyway. Next, attach a Tacgrip as your rear grip attachment for sprint to fire speed, and in the end, add the .45 Auto Overpressured +P ammunition box. You can also go for the 48-round magazine as well if you feel 30 rounds isn’t enough to take down more than two targets.

Long Range Build

  • Barrel: Striker Recon Long Barrel
  • Muzzle: Xten Razor Comp
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Optic: Schlager 3.4x
  • Magazine: 60 Round Drum Mag

The previous Striker build is effective for small and medium-sized maps like Favela or Scrapyard. But if you want to bring your friendly Modern Warfare 3 SMG Striker to the big maps, you might need to adjust it a bit. First, we need a bigger barrel for heavier punches on each shot. The Striker Recon Long Barrel is the answer.

Next, add the Xten Razor Comp to reduce recoil, allowing you to manage the recoil easily. And then, go for the brand new Bruen Heavy Support Grip as the underbarrel attachment. This is the ultimate way to reduce horizontal recoil, which is annoying when it sways off long-range targets after shooting only three rounds.

Now, to finalize this best Striker class/loadout 2.0 in MW3 Multiplayer, slap a 60-round magazine under the weapon. An optic will also be necessary to take down enemy snipers with an SMG in the Wasteland. Here, I’ve used the Schlager 3.4x as a solid optic, but you can mount tons of new red dot-centered glasses over your SMG.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Campaign are currently available.
