5. FR 5.56
The FR 5.56 is back in MW3 as a member of the FR family. We had the new FR Avancer in MW2 and Warzone Season 5, which is a fully automatic version of this platform. The FR 5.56, however, is semi-automatic, firing in a 3-shot burst mode. If you manage to shoot all three to the upper body of your target, it’s enough to bag the opponent. FR 5.56 is accurate, deals heavy damage, and its recoil pattern is primarily vertical and easily controllable.

However, you would need to manage its recoil with attachments and learn its pattern by practicing it in the firing range. Just like the SVA-545, the MTZ-556 also comes with a high fire rate, but it has something superior to the Kastov-based AR: Accuracy. MTZ-556 is exactly when power meets efficiency, allowing you to land every shot without overlooking the recoil. However, if you use the right attachments and upgrade this rifle, you can bring an absolute monster to the battlefield. The current meta of Modern Warfare 3 indicates the MTZ-556 as one of the best Assault Rifles in the game.
