This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Sundering Origin Trait appears on weapons that come from the Destiny 2 Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon. Given the circumstances that activate the abilities of the Sundering Origin Trait, it makes so much more sense for these weapons to be taken out for PvE game mode activities, like Strikes, or even campaigns, since we’re nearing the completion of the game’s story. Regardless, the Origin Trait is still very useful and gives you the chance to increase both reload speed and charge rate on any weapons that have Sundering on them.

Sundering is a great Origin Trait to have on any weapons that you take into activities where you will be facing obstacles. More specifically, it’s great against vehicles and constructs. Whenever you have Sundering on a weapon, destroying vehicles and constructs grants that weapon bonus relead speed and charge rate.

However, it’s important to note that constructs include barricades, turrets, Stasis crystals, and other objects that can be created in the field. That said, if you’re in an area with people throwing up barriers and Stasis crystals like crazy, your reload speed and charge rate will be through the room.

Which Weapons Have Sundering?

If you want to find a weapon with Sundering on it, it would be wise to head into the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon and start beating encounters. If you’re looking for a Sundering weapon, you’ll only be able to find it in the small list of Warlord’s Ruin weapons.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
