Sadly, no. Monster Hunter World does not support any cross-platform features, and by the looks of it, it won’t get any support. Given how Rise got its last update in 2023, and Wilds was announced during The Game Awards 2023, we don’t think Capcom will return to support World. While it’s sad not being able to play with friends regardless of the platform, it isn’t something new. Most of the time, console crossplay tends to be a hassle for many developers, and they opt to leave it out. However, Capcom has already revealed that crossplay is coming to Monster Hunter Wilds, so that’s one thing to look forward to.
While the road to Monster Hunter Wilds is a long one, there’s plenty to do in World and Rise, with the latter having some of the best endgame content to date. So, grab your extremely big weapon, talk to your handler, and set off to take down some of the biggest monsters in the New World and beyond.
