When playing Valorant, you might have experienced the “Low Client FPS” error message popping up during a match. Both low-end and high-end PC players experience the same error, but if you are playing especially with low-end PCs, you might get this more often. Also, this error may pop up if you have a slow internet connection or high graphic settings. However, a few solutions exist to fix Low Client FPS in Valorant.

The most workable methods that fix the low Client FPS in Valorant are Optimizing the GPU settings, increasing RAM allocation, reducing the FPS, and playing in Stretched resolution. Below are the details.

1. Optimize the GPU Settings

Lowering your graphics settings is the first option to fix the Low Client FPS. Valorant can run on a wide range of systems, but if you have a deficient graphic card or an old computer, you must tweak your settings for better performance.

You can do these optimizations in the Video tab in the Settings. You can switch off some options, such as Vignette, VSync, Experimental Sharpening, Bloom, Distortion, and Cast Shadows, while lowering some options, such as Material Quality, Texture Quality, and Detail Quality. But, keep Multithreaded Rendering On to increase performance.

2. Increase RAM Allocation

Valorant requires at least 4GB of RAM to run smoothly without any error. But, you might get the Low Client FPS error if you also have more background processes consuming most of your resources. In that case, the best option is to increase the RAM allocation.

3. Reduce FPS

Even though a High FPS is good for having a better gaming experience, lowering FPS might help to keep the  Low Client FPS issue out of the way. By reducing the FPS, your PC has more time to process all the frames and run smoothly without errors.

4. Play in Stretched Resolution

Playing the game in stretched resolution means changing the aspect ratio of your display to be wider or taller. This will boost FPS but can also stretch the images and affect gameplay visuals. However, this is a quick fix for Low Client FPS in Valorant if none of the above methods work.
