Those logging into World of Warcraft recently might have noticed a peculiar new mount hanging around Dragonflight‘s Valdrakken hub and the surrounding zones in the Dragon Isles. The Auspicious Arborwyrm is a unique Dragonriding mount with a similar look to Patch 10.1 Embers of Neltharion’s Winding Slitherdrake. However, this “long boi” is very much themed around nature. Where To Get the Auspicious Arborwyrm in WoW
The Auspicious Arborwyrm in WoW is easy to get if you have the funds. Back in October, Blizzard began an ongoing special promotion to incentivize players to purchase a 12-month subscription to the game. A slew of rewards were included in the bundle for both WoW retail and Classic, including the following:
- WoW Retail
- Gleaming Moonbeast mount
- Ginormous Grrloc ground mount
- Wondrous Wavewhisker mount
- WoW Classic
- Nightmarish Emerald Drake mount
- Glub pet
In addition to these rewards, Blizzard mentioned an additional mount would be given out in 2024 to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Being the Year of the Dragon, the Auspicious Arborwyrm in WoW is this year’s mount reward themed after the Chinese holiday and in-game Lunar Festival event. Furthermore, WoW Classic Wrath of the Lich King players will receive a new dragon pet named Cypress.
To get the Auspicious Arborwyrm in WoW, you only need to open the shop or go to the Blizzard store website and purchase the 12-month special promotion offer that is still available. The Dragonriding mount will then be added to your collection along with the other rewards.
Dragonriding Coming to Entire Game
This new Dragonriding mount is coming at the perfect time. With the release of Patch 10.2.5 Seeds of Renewal, Dragonriding will be added to all areas of the game that currently allow flying. You will be able to use the Auspicious Arborwyrm in WoW wherever you want. In addition to this, Dragonriding will transition to being called Dynamic Flying with the release of the next expansion, The War Within, in the summer.
