Mount Qaf is a place full of traps and enemies that’ll make any Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown player feel nervous unless they equip a few amulets. These items provide Sargon with different bonuses and effects that can make exploring and fighting much easier. However, like any other Metroidvania titles, you must be in certain areas if you want to change your build or equip new amulets to try a different approach to your playthrough. Luckily, there are many amulets on the map, and you’ll be getting them constantly; the only thing you have to do is learn how to equip them.

As you explore the dangerous halls of Mount Qaf, you’ll encounter several items you can equip. However, this is not something you can do on the fly. To make things more challenging, the developers have only allowed players to switch amulets by following the next steps:

  1. Head to any Wak-Wak Tree.
  2. Select the “Amulets” option.
  3. Inside the menu, equip and unequip your desired amulets.

Something important to remember is that you can’t exceed the amount of amulet slots you have. You can identify them by looking at the yellow circles at the bottom of your equipped amulets. To get more amulet holders, we recommend advancing through the main story and beating bosses or buying them at The Haven.

With so many amulets to equip in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, players can experiment with different builds. Most of these items provide positive bonuses, but there are a few powerful ones you can get at the Scrapyard that give players a significant upgrade to their damage but have a few negative effects to avoid making these objects too overpowered. Still, it is nice to see the variety of amulets in the game, so don’t be afraid to mix and match a few until you find the right gameplay style for you.
