Sofia Vergara gained instant fan approval this weekend as she posted an amusing Instagram snap and admitted that she had “forgotten” her swimwear. Delighting her army of followers, the newly-divorced actress soaked up rays on the East Coast as she mentioned her Miami, FL location, but the humor came as she appeared in a pink dress while saying that she had forgotten her bathing suit.
Sofia is followed by over 33 million on Instagram. Fans have left the America’s Got Talent judge over 240,000 likes for her Saturday share.
Sofia Vergara Delights Instagram With Weekend Snap
Relaxing on red cushioned seating and enjoying a sunny terrace while backed by large glass doors, Sofia ditched the glam posing for a real vibe as she plonked herself in the sun and closed her eyes.
Topping up her tan in the weekend sunshine, Sofia modeled a strapless, Fuschia-pink dress with white piping accents and a near-pajama-like finish. Flashing her shapely arms and shoulders, the Netflix star also showed off her toned legs as she sat barefoot, although she was resting her feet on matching, flat pink shoes.
Admits She ‘Forgot’ Her Bathing Suit
Going nearly makeup-free, Sofia ditched the heavy foundation for a natural finish, wearing only a little pink lip color to match her outfit. In a caption, the sitcom star told her Instagram fans: “When u forget ur bathing suit but you wakeup in Miami!!!🥴🤣☀️☀️☀️”
Fans largely sent Sofia love and included plenty of heart emojis in their comments, although a few suspect comments did come in. “I find it hard to believe you couldn’t just buy a new bathing suit 🤔,” one fan wrote, possibly joking. Sofia also earned herself celebrity likes from Heidi Klum and Veronika Rajek.
Elsewhere, Sofia has been making headlines for promoting her latest Griselda miniseries on Netflix and for continuing to promote her 2023-launched Toty sunscreen and beauty brand.
In the above photo, Sofia showed off her age-defying good looks at 51 while plugging her brand. “@toty you r going to love it. Use it all year round❤️☀️ stay protected,” she wrote.
“I grew up in very tropical weather in Barranquilla, Colombia, and there was no one ever telling you, ‘Don’t get sunburn’ or ‘Don’t tan,’” she told Harper’s Bazaar of her youth and how it ties into her Toty brand. “I wish I had made that decision sooner also for the rest of my body, but I didn’t. I just thought to save my face, and that was it. So, I haven’t had my face in the sun without protection since the ’90s,” the Modern Family alum added.
