Tis the season to be greedy! Nobody knows that better than everyone’s favorite gas factory, Wario. You’ll notice the title of this segment says “WarioWare series.” That’s because, when we decided to cover one of the WarioWare games, well, it just wasn’t good enough for the yellow man. So in order to prevent our stockings being filled with noxious whoopee cushions this Christmas, we’ll be doing all of the games that have speedruns to pacify him. Luckily, each run averages around half an hour, so despite the long list, we won’t be here too very long. Let’s get started, shall we?

Mega Microgame$ by werster in 29:43. Jimmy 3 was the hardest part of his run, requiring several attempts to finally get some luck.

Mega Party Game$ by Galaxium in 31:03. This is a Gamecube remake of Mega Microgame$ with a focus on multiplayer.

Twisted! by werster in 28:36. He had to recalibrate a couple times throughout the run, but otherwise, things went well.

Touched! by Forstride in 30:22. This was on the Wii U virtual console. The only notable mistake was at the reset before Ashley.

Smooth Moves by Quitschiii95 in 48:55. Beat the second place time by a close four seconds.

WarioWare: Snapped! and WarioWare: D.I.Y. do not have speedruns, the former due to how the DSi’s camera is used to play the games, and the latter due to it being up to the player to create the games. D.I.Y. was released in 2010, with a similar game, Game, and Wario, to come in 2013. That’s the last we’ve seen of the series up to now. Maybe it’ll return with the Switch?

Need to catch up with Speedrun Fast? Dig in to a run + tutorial of Shovel Knight. As always, don’t forget to leave a comment and request what you want to see next. And happy holidays!
