Farming is a standard part of Granblue Fantasy: Relink just like Fire Emblem and other RPGs, but sometimes you don’t have the time and energy to do the work yourself. In that case, there’s no better solution than AFK farming. This technique works a bit differently in every game, but one thing is always the same: it’s hands-off, letting you walk away to handle other tasks or just scroll on your phone while your characters collect loot and XP for you. Whether you’re working your way toward Terminus Weapons or just trying to perfect your Rackam build, this technique’s a game-changer. Here’s how to AFK farm in Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Fortitude Crystals aren’t the only resource you’ll want to farm, and an AFK farm is hands-down the easiest way to get items and other valuables in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Nothing is stopping you from AFK farming early in the game, but you’ll get better rewards and a stronger return on time invested if you wait until you reach Proud difficulty and have access to higher-tier quests. Here are the steps you need to follow first:

  • Open the Pause menu
  • Navigate to “Game Options”
  • Select “Gameplay”
  • Enable “Full Assist Mode”

These steps are vital because they’re what allow the AFK part of your AFK farm. Without turning on Full Assist Mode, there’s no easy way to have your heroes grind on your behalf. That means you can only AFK farm on Extreme difficulty or lower in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, because Full Assist Mode is disabled at higher difficulty settings. Now that you have Full Assist Mode enabled, choose the mission you want to farm. If you’re playing with a controller, you’ll want to disable vibration and set it on a flat, stable surface first.

Repeat the Quest

Although most of this AFK farm technique takes place without your input, there’s one more step you need to do yourself. Once the battle finishes, select “Yes” when the game asks if you want to repeat the quest. Doing so will start the quest over, allowing your characters to farm rewards for you without needing any further input. After your characters have completed the mission a certain number of times, the “Repeat the quest” instruction will automatically terminate. If you still want to AFK farm, just load the mission up again and proceed as you did the first time. This is one of the best methods to farm Mastery Points, which you’ll want for the end-game.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
