Can’t wait until the recently announcedย release date to playย Mass Effect: Andromeda? There are a few ways you may be able to scratch that itch just a little bit early.

The creators of the game have been busy on their Twitter accounts and recently announced a few ways people will be able to get their hands onย Mass Effect: Andromeda prior to the game’s release date. The game’s official Twitter account posted the following on Friday:

Yes, EA Access members get to play Mass Effect: Andromeda early for a limited time.

Unfortunately, EA Access is only available on Xbox One. What is everyone else to do? When asked, Michael Gamble (the producer ofย theย Mass Effect series) reassured everyone not on Microsoft’s system:

yup

Origin Access costs $5 a month, providing early access and timed game trials for many titles, and chips in some completely free games to boot. EA Access costs the same, and provides a similar service, including a 10% discount on all EA digital titles.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is the fourth game in Bioware’s open world space opera RPG series. It features a different protagonist from the original trilogy, named Ryder, since it takes place 600 years after the original seriesย ended. It will feature the familiar third person perspective and certain game elements that fans of the series have come to expect, but Bioware has stated thatย Andromedaย will be the most ambitious gameย in theย Mass Effect series yet.

Don’t worry, you’ll still be the most dashing space captain around.

Mass Effect: Andromeda releases on March 21 in North America and March 23 in Europe. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Excited to explore the galaxy with a new crew? Think you will sign up for one of these services just to get an early crack at the next game in theย Mass Effect saga? Let us know in the comments below!
